  • Collaborate with vendors, end customers, drivers, and logistics personnel through phone, email, or in-person interactions to expertly manage freight on behalf of the carrier.

  • Utilize load boards and personal connections to identify potential customers (shippers and brokers) and profitable freight in need of shipping.

  • Coordinate and manage loads with utmost efficiency to ensure cost-effective operations.

  • Monitor and optimize mileage to minimize deadhead/empty-load hours and enhance profitability.

  • Combine shipments based on their routes and timeline, leveraging mapping and routing software to minimize the utilization of trucks and drivers.

  • Contact drivers and efficiently schedule shipment deliveries and pickups.

  • Communicate with customers, meticulously noting any specific shipment-handling requests, finalizing freight details, and effectively conveying them to the customer.

  • Ensure timely adherence to delivery and pickup schedules, attentively recording any route-change requests.

  • Track loaded trucks from pick-up to delivery, closely monitoring and redirecting drivers in emergencies or unforeseen risks, and facilitating border crossings.

  • Generate and meticulously verify freight bills and invoices, while maintaining and reviewing carrier contracts, rates, and load confirmations.

  • Confirm truck drivers' compliance with relevant transportation rules and regulations, while monitoring their health and safety.

  • Maintain, update, and closely monitor drivers' logs for errors, violations, working hours, and equipment availability.

  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their loads and promptly address any shipment-related queries or complaints.
